Things I like Thursday

Reluctantly I have changed the name of this blog today.  Obviously posting daily was too much of a hassle for me to keep it up so I changed the name to one with lower expectations.  Maybe it's because I haven't had too many eventful things happening of late.  Kind of a good thing I guess.  So, I'm back today to share some of the things I am currently liking.

My  new Graco Glider I bought from Walmart.com and that Drew assembled.  It looks smashing in our nursery and is comfortable to boot.

The love affair with Dr. Pepper continues.  I use them as an occassional treat and I gotta say, it really is what the dr. ordered!  Okay not really, my dr. did not in fact tell me to drink dr. pepper but whatever

The mobile I ordered that is taking forever to come in!

The quilt my mom is making.  The edge is no pink not yellow and the silver "lines" are actually just safety pins.

Wild & Crazy Weekend

Now, don't read that title and get your hopes up that you are about to read the first hand account of a wild and crazy weekend, because you will be so disappointed it's not even funny.  I guess I should have titled this entry "Unwild Weekend" because that really fits the bill better.

However, that being said I do have quite a weekend ahead of me.  First of all, Drew is out of town with friends to float the river in New Braunfels (sp?).  He left this morning and won't be back until Sunday!  Sunday!  So, tonight is going to iffy.  I have the hardest time falling asleep with out him here.  My plan is to stay up as late as I can and fall asleep out of sheer exhaustion. Tomorrow I'm going to his cousin's wedding and then a family reunion on Sunday.  I know it's not much but hopefully it will keep me occupied.  I was actually able to turn in two assignments today. One was due today the other was a full day early!!  I am such a procrastinator that a FULL day is quite an accomplishment for me.  Especially when you consider I've turned in assignments with mere hours to spare (2 hours to be exact).

See, "Unwild and Uncrazy Weekend"

Goodnight Blogger!

Things I like Thursday

It was no so subtlely brought to my attention that if I cannot blog everyday I cannot call my blog The Daily Daven, so here I am again.  I think Thursday's may just be my Things I like blog.  I'll post some pics of the things that I am currently liking.  Today it's all baby stuff I'm afraid so if you are not good with the cutesy stuff, turn away now.  NOW I say!

What a stereotype

So I'm sitting here being a stereotypical pregnant lady with a nice big bowl of dutch chocolate ice cream in one hand, my water in the other, and my bare feet propped up all the while watching television.  Lazy you say?  If anything I'm multitasking because I didn't even mention that i'm also blogging (although hopefully you assumed that was going on too).

Honestly, I haven't really been giving into cravings so I'm going to savor this ice cream.  It's the only thing I've really wanted and just had to go buy.  Well, I guess I should revise that statement.  I have been craving Dr. Pepper like a feign and crazily enough cannot stand diet coke which used to be what I slurped down by the gallon and pretty much how I stayed hydrated before I got pregnant.  But my goodness, Dr. Pepper is freaking awesome!

She's been moving like crazy, or at least I think she has been, these past few days.  I hate that I have no idea what it feels like exactly.  Everyone compares it to different things.  It could feel like hunger pains, gas, digestion, butterflies, popcorn popping and the list goes on and on and on.  I would like to think I've been feeling her moving and not just loads of gas gurgling or digestion happening, but I guess that is always a possibility.  I'm just going to say it's her moving.  Case closed, my mind is made up.

Well gotta run, my ice cream is melting!  Aaaaahhh!
